Jackson “Jack” - Always There When It Mattered

Jack had a way of quietly showing up when he was needed most. He didn’t demand attention or fill the room with noise - he simply made things better by being there. His family often called him the nurse, a name he earned by faithfully curling up beside anyone who wasn’t feeling well, offering the kind of comfort only a dog can give.

He also had a lighter side - an unshakable love for bananas, strawberries, and peanut butter, and an impressive talent for shameless begging. He greeted the first snowfall like it was made just for him and never turned down a road trip.

Jack’s gentle loyalty and quiet joy will be remembered always. 🩵

His family shared these words:

“Our grateful thanks to Dr. Laurinda Morris at the Animal Care Center of Granville for providing loving care for all our pups but most recently for our boy Jackson. When we found we had to make the unbearable decision to help Jack cross the Rainbow Bridge, we found Dr. Michelle and her team at Rockmill Veterinary Services. They helped us give Jack a peaceful, loving transition from pain. The fact that Jack could be surrounded by his family and in his home was such a comfort.
Jackson (Jack) was the kindest pup… His gentle nature was adored by all. We miss him desperately and are grateful for this little angel’s presence in our lives.”
