Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 17, 2026
Welcome to Rockmill Mobile Veterinary Services. By booking an appointment or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Services Provided
Rockmill Mobile Veterinary Services offers mobile, in-home veterinary care including wellness exams, diagnostic testing, treatments, minor procedures, and end-of-life services. Services are provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Appointment Policy
Appointments are scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. We provide estimated arrival windows rather than exact appointment times due to the nature of mobile care.
A travel fee may apply based on your location.
Required forms and, in some cases, an estimate or invoice may be sent in advance and may need to be completed prior to your appointment.
A $95 new patient deposit is required at the time of scheduling to reserve your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward your visit total. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling, as it can be difficult to fill appointment times on short notice. Deposits may be forfeited if changes are made within that timeframe.
Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee.
For the safety of our staff and in accordance with Ohio law, we may be unable to provide services for pets that are not current on rabies vaccination or where vaccination status cannot be verified.
Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. In some cases, prepayment may be required prior to the visit.
We accept credit/debit cards and other electronic payment methods, including CareCredit.
Outstanding balances may be subject to additional fees, collections, and/or denial of future services.
Emergency Policy
We do not provide full emergency or critical care services. Limited same-day or urgent appointments may be available for end-of-life care depending on schedule and location.
For true medical emergencies, please contact your nearest 24-hour veterinary emergency facility.
Geographic Coverage
Our primary service area includes Lancaster, Ohio and surrounding communities within approximately 30 miles or 30 minutes of our location.
Clients outside this range may be subject to additional travel fees or may be referred to another provider.
Travel fees vary by distance and will be provided in advance when possible.
Medical Records
We will provide access to your pet’s medical records upon request. We may also share records with other veterinary providers upon your written consent.
Limitation of Liability
We strive to provide the highest standard of care. However, we are not liable for circumstances beyond our control, including adverse reactions, outcomes related to delayed treatment, or emergencies outside our operating scope.
Clients are responsible for monitoring their pet and seeking additional care when recommended or if conditions change.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services implies agreement to the most recent version.
Discretionary Termination of Services
We reserve the right to decline or terminate services at our discretion if we believe it is in the best interest of the client, patient, or practitioner. This may include situations involving safety concerns, inappropriate behavior, or a breakdown in communication.
