A Life Filled with Sunshine

We had the privilege of meeting Sunshine near the end of her journey, and it was impossible not to see how deeply she was loved. Her family had stood faithfully beside her through years of serious illness, giving her every bit of comfort, patience, and care they could. Sunshine was so much more than a beloved companion - she was family, a best friend, and a steady source of love through some of life’s darkest days.

Her family shared these words in her memory:

“Sunshine lived up to her name by being one of my best friends and a loyal and loving companion. She was there in dark times of my life with nothing but true love. My son and I will gravely miss her. She brought a ray of sunshine to all who had the privilege of spending time her.

To Sunshine, if grandma doesn't pick you up at the rainbow bridge, I'll there one day.”

We hope Grandma was there waiting to welcome Sunshine at the bridge. Until the rest of her family joins her someday, may they continue to feel her love in all the places where her light still shines. Rest peacefully, sweet Sunshine. 🌻
