Dakota - Loyal Guardian and Dedicated Squirrel Chaser

For nearly 13 years, Dakota was more than a companion - she was a constant presence, a watchful protector, and a devoted partner in daily life.

Her owner shared:

“Dakota was born April 1st 2013, she was embraced into a home that loved and cherished her for almost 13 years. Fiercely loyal and devoted to her family, her favorite spot at home was sunbathing and keeping guard over the neighborhood through the big windows. She travelled to 6 states, spent many hours playing and hiking and making friends in parks across the country. Avid chases of squirrels, catcher of one. Was lucky enough to bring her to work and the majority of her life we spent 24/7 together. She will be greatly missed.”

Some dogs are woven into every part of a person’s routine and rhythm. This beautiful girl was clearly one of them. The years spent together leave behind a bond that doesn’t disappear with goodbye. 🩵  🐾
