Haus: A Life Rooted in Love

Haus was there from the very beginning - 13 years of life woven into the story of his family. A protector when he needed to be, and a gentle, steady presence through every chapter that followed.

His story is best told in the words of the family who loved him:

“I saw this pup born 13 years ago and we said ‘whoa - now that’s a big one.’ We appropriately named him Haus and he is the last out of his litter of 7 to meet Jesus face to face.

His size and intimidating bark kept us safe as newlyweds only able to afford to live in the worst areas. His gentleness welcomed our 2 human babies into the world and kept them safe too. He loved to unwrap presents for his birthday and Christmas. He has given me the most while asking and expecting nothing from me. If that isn’t love I don’t know what is.

Faith hope and love abide. But the greatest of these is love.”
