Merry: A Life Built on Trust, Love, and Second Chances

Merry’s life was shaped by resilience, patience, and the deep bond she shared with her family. Though her early months were marked by hardship, she found safety, understanding, and unconditional love with Patty and Larry.

In their words:

“She was a wonderful little dog for us. She was a rescue and had several behavioral issues because she was abused for the first 6 months of her life.

She overcame most of them, but some remained throughout her life.

Most people never got to see her funny, sweet, and entertaining personality because she was filled with fear and anxiety when other people were around.

We were her people and with time she learned to trust us.

She loved long walks and treeing squirrels. She also enjoyed her toys and destroying the squeaker in all of them by putting a hole in it without tearing a hole in the toy itself.

She could be a drama queen at times, but a little angel at times too.

Gone too soon from our lives at 11 1/2 years old, but will remain in our hearts forever. Run free Merry.
