Rondo Calrissian - 100% Sweetheart, Best Boy Ever

Rondo was gentle in a way that made people feel safe, especially the smallest ones. Patient, steady, and deeply woven into his family’s everyday life, Rondo was the kind of dog you trust completely. His presence mattered, and his absence does too.

His family shared these words to remember the life they built together:

"24% Australian Shepherd + 24% Border Collie + 20% Collie + 9% undetermined Mutt + 9% Chow Chow + 8% German Shepherd + 7% Beagle = 100% sweetheart, the perfect dog and best boy ever, Rondo Calrissian.

Sweet, smart and gentle, Rondo was the best dog you could ever ask for to raise babies and toddlers around. Always gentle and patient with the way toddlers can be. I will be forever grateful that his time on this earth overlapped with his human siblings’ early years. Never even a nip or a snarl (where sometimes it would have been deserved!)

One thing he was known for though was his amusing predilection for chasing moving lights. If you had your phone out and the sunlight caught it just right you could expect to see a black streak suddenly dart across the room in a flash, leaping at the wall.

Keep chasing that light, sweet boy. We miss and love you forever."
