Spirit Queen Kitty: She Found Exactly Where She Belonged

Ten years ago, Spirit Queen Kitty walked into a home that wasn’t hers and apparently decided otherwise. What followed was a life in which she became far more than the little street kitten who had wandered through the door.

Her family shared these words about her:

“Spirit Queen Kitty came into our lives 10 years ago when she simply walked into our home as a street kitten and declared that we were now her people. At the time, I was struggling with severe mental health issues and would cut myself. Spirit seemed to sense when I was going down that dark road and would jump up on the bed and place her paw on my arm to keep me from cutting. She was there for me when I had nobody else. I am much better today, and when I met and married my wife, she became immediately attached to Spirit. Spirit would spend hours on her lap - it was her favorite place to be. We will never forget our beloved Spirit Queen Kitty. She started life as a street kitten and found love in our home and lives. She passes not an unknown stray cat but as a beloved member of our family. We will always fondly remember our Spirit Queen Kitty and in so doing, perpetuate the love with which she has ingratiated herself into our lives.”
