Lola’s story began with a turning point - one that could have ended everything before it truly started. Instead, she was given another path, and she spent nearly ten years proving just how much that second chance mattered.
She filled her days with the simple things that made her happiest - chasing anything that moved, wandering to familiar places for treats, stretching out in the sun, and finding joy in the small, everyday moments. But what stood out most wasn’t what she did, it was how she loved.
There was a steadiness to her. The kind of presence that doesn’t demand attention, but becomes part of everything. The kind that makes a house feel full, and leaves a silence behind when it’s gone.
Her family shared this about her life:
“Lola came into our lives in the middle of a pretty hard year. She was surrendered at 3.5 years old when her original owners wanted her euthanized and the vet refused. Thank goodness he did. She gave us almost ten years, and turned 14 in January. She has truly been the most wonderful friend. She loved balls, flying things, the creek, spending time at the neighbors’s house getting treats, sunning, people food, but especially her mom. She has provided us with so many laughs and unwavering love and devotion. Our hearts are broken, the house just won’t be the same. Dreaming of her running at the rainbow bridge. Until we meet again my sweet love."

Lola’s life is a reminder of how much can grow from a single moment of grace, and how deeply a dog can shape the rhythm of a home. The space she leaves behind speaks to just how much of it she filled. 🤍 🐾 🤍
